Transform any Image into a Stunning Watercolor Artwork for Absolutely Nothing!

This platform presents a simple and effortless way to morph any picture into a graceful watercolor painting, all with just a single click. In addition to that, there is a rich selection of other cost-free filters!

To keep expenses low and to introduce a personal touch in the artwork we display in our home, more often than not, we employ photographs instead of buying art pieces. 

Recently, I wanted to have a portrait of our latest holiday destination in our kitchen, but with a soft watercolor twist. I've previously used the Waterlogue iPhone app in the past to have this elegant watercolor effect on my photographs, and it's addictively impressive! However, this time, the results from Waterlogue were undesirably pale. If you are proficient with Adobe Photoshop or any other similar image-processing software, you can execute this particular edit in them. I sought out a quick and effortless option and discovered Lunapic. Using Lunapic was a thrilling experience with a broad range of effects available, and it was simple to use not to mention, free! 

Thus, I’m sharing a step-by-step guide on achieving different filters and editing techniques, alongside some of my favorite options. Let’s begin!

I commenced with a photograph I took during my holiday of a stone building showcasing some gorgeous wooden doors in the village I resided in:

And converted it into this vivid sketch with a watercolor twist:

To achieve this effect, I used the Color Pencil Sketch option under the Effects tab located at the top of the website."

More options are available for some effects! I experimented with the regular Pencil Sketch and then the "Sketch" option located at the top. Using the adjustable bar, I intensified the effect, resulting in a moodier, black and white "sketch" version of my photo:

This website offers an endless range of filters and editing options, including a Lego Style effect found under the Effect tab:

Isn't that enjoyable? It's a fantastic art concept for a child's room!

I wanted to soften one of our trip's landscape photographs and proceeded to test the Watercolor edit located under the Art tab:

This option blended all aspects together producing an effect of brushstrokes. It was quite lovely! However, the image appeared too bright and undefined, so I switched to the Landscape edit (also located under the Art tab).
