(in symbols m2 or, in the Italian tradition, m2) unit of measurement of the area, equivalent to the area of a square with a side of one meter.

## How to transform linear meters into square meters?

It is not possible to convert the two units of measurement and therefore it is not possible to switch from square meters to meters; this is because it is not possible to convert a surface to a length.

## What does a square meter correspond to?

Square meter – Square meter. The square meter or square meter, indicated with the symbol m2is a unit of measurement of the surface of the International System defined as the area of a square with a side equal to 1 meter.

## How is a square meter measured?

1) we measure the width and length of the area whose square meters we want to calculate using a meter; 2) we express the results obtained in meters; 3) multiply the measurement of the width by that of the length; the result will be the number of square meters of the measured area.

## What does 100 commercial square meters mean?

The COMMERCIAL square meters are the sum of the spaces of the entire building, including the walls. … The walkable square meters, on the other hand, are the surfaces where I can physically walk and, in the count, 100% of the square meters are taken into consideration, excluding the walls.

The commercial area is also known by the acronym SCV (Salable Commercial Area), meaning with it the sum of the “weighted areas” that make up the property and the objective criterion of reference to which to measure the asset valuations of the real estate units.

The usable surface is the net of the commercial

While the commercial area also includes walls, external uncovered areas (terraces, balconies, verandas, etc …) and exclusive dependencies (porches, courtyards).

Calculating the area of a rectangle with the same method is just as simple: we will calculate it like this: “Area = base * height”. Thus. In square meters, we will have a square of 12 square meters with a rectangle of base 3 and height of 4, while we will have one of 35 square meters with a base of 7 and height of 5.

How is it calculated?

1. for a building in reinforced concrete 10% of the total surface is removed;
2. for houses with “historic” tuff walls, 15% is removed;
3. if there are external surfaces, 25% is usually eliminated.

A hectare, whose symbol is ha, represents a unit of measurement of the area, which has been recognized by the International System of Units. Its size corresponds to 10,000 m² (square meters). It represents a multiple of the ara and centiara, which are other units of measurement.

Taking a simple case, if a condominium with 10 apartments has a total area, given by the sum of the surfaces of the apartments, equal to 1,000 square meters, and each apartment has an area of 100 square meters, the thousandth part of each apartment will be 100 thousandths.

50 kg / [(7.8 kg/dm3)*(10 mm)] = about 0.64 SQM.

If the house has two floors, multiply the floor area by 1.5. Always taking into account the example described above, you should get a roof area of 277 m2a value very close to the first result.

Calculate the area of the rectangle. that is the product of base and height, but the problem instead gives us only their relationship and the perimeter. The perimeter of the rectangle is nothing more than the sum of the base and height multiplied by two, so dividing the perimeter by two we get the sum of the base plus the height.

The length of the two longer opposite sides is called the length or base of the rectangle, while the length of the two shorter sides is called the width or height.

To calculate how many tiles to order for the floors, you need to know the size of the rooms. By adding an additional 10%, equal to 1.8 square meters, the total to be ordered will be: 18 1.8 = 19.8 square meters.

For those who want to calculate the square meters of the walls and the scrap more quickly, just add all the sides of the walls and multiply the total by the height (without subtracting the openings). To the area thus obtained it is sufficient to add a percentage of 5% of the total as scrap.

The cadastral area, understood as the building cadastre, represents the sum of the various types of surface of an urban real estate unit, from the main part taken in full, including the thickness of the walls up to a maximum of 50 cm, to the direct and indirect accessories considered in the percentage like …

Generally, for non-residential assets such as garages or parking spaces, the consistency indicates the net area of the property and the cadastral area the gross one, i.e. including the thickness of the walls (the gross is obtained from the DocFa procedure, but on this I do not I dwell on it).

Also called “salable commercial area” (SCV), it represents an objective parameter to be followed for asset valuations. The mathematical formula used to calculate it is: “Commercial area x Quotation per square meter x Coefficients of merit”.

How is it calculated? As regards the uncovered garden area or similar: 10% of the area up to five times that covered by the real estate unit; 2% for surfaces that exceed this limit on the main rooms and on those serving direct service (bathroom, closet, etc.).

To calculate the market value of a property, the mathematical formula is used: Market value = Commercial surface * Quotation per square meter * Coefficients of merit.

25-03-2022 · M = molarity ( in moles/L ) w = the weight of the solute ( in grams ) m =molar mass of solute ( g/mole) V = volume of the final solution once the complete dissolution is done ( in litres ). We can find molar mass from molarity by rearranging the equation 1.

25-03-2022

In this article we are going to analyze how to find molar mass from molarity.

There are many ways to find molar mass from molarity, but we are going to work with one equation from which on rearranging it we can obtain the required product. For this we should know the other quantities other than the one of our interest.

## To understand how to find molar mass from molarity we must first understand the relationship between the two terms.

The below equation is of our interest:

M = w/( mv )  … equation 1

Where in,

M = molarity ( in moles/L )

w = the weight of the solute ( in grams )

m =molar mass of solute ( g/mole)

V = volume of the final solution once the complete dissolution is done ( in litres ).

We can find molar mass from molarity by rearranging the equation 1

m = w/ Mv … equation 2

So we can find the three quantities the weight of the solute ( w ), Molarity ( M ), and Volume of the solution ( V ).

Finding molarity:

There are many ways in which we can find or calculate molarity but the very basic one that we use nowadays is:

Molarity = moles of solute / Liters of solution or Volume of solution.

By using the above relation we can calculate molarity.

Finding Volume:

The provided Volume make sure before substituting it should be in liters.

After knowing the three quantities, we can substitute them in equation 2 and obtain molar mass. So in this way by using the above relationship we can find out molar mass from molarity.

## How to find molarity from molar mass and density?

In order to find molarity from molar mass and density, we should have a relation between the three terms.

What I am referring to is if we know the two terms we can find out the third one. We can understand molarity in simple words as the amount of any substance present in a given volume of solution ( the one being considered). Another term used to describe molarity is the molar concentration ( of given solution).

The notation used to denote molarity is M and its standard unit is mol m-3. Density, which is also referred to as specific mass is the mass per unit volume, and the notation used to denote it is rho ( a Greek letter). Its standard unit is kg/m3. A quantity like the pressure is directly proportional to density meaning as the pressure is increased ( keeping the temperature constant ) the density will increase.

Temperature is inversely proportional to density meaning as the temperature is increased ( keeping the pressure constant) the density will decrease.  The Molar mass of a compound ( chemical) is the mass of the compound ( in consideration) divided by the substance ( amount) in the sample of the compound being referred.

It’s sometimes also referred to as molecular weight. The standard unit used to describe molar mass is kg/mol. So now we know the perfect meaning of the three terms. So the relation can be given as

Molarity = density/molar mass × 1000

So, if we know density and molar mass of a substance we can easily calculate its molarity.

## How to find moles from molar mass ?

We know that 1 mole is equivalent to 6.022 × 1023. We can find moles from the molar mass by using the formula given below:

n = m/M

n = number of moles

m = given mass

M= molar mass

For better understanding let’s see some examples:

1. Find out the number of moles in 70g of CH4.

Solution

First, we should calculate molar mass ( by simply adding the weight of the atoms in CH4 formula) and we are provided with mass = 70g (m)

Molar mass = CH4 = 12 4 = 16g/mol.

n = m/M = 70/16 = 4.36 mol

2. Find out number of moles in 10g of NaOH.

Molar mass (M) = NaOH = 23 16 1 = 40g/mol

m = 10g

n = m/M = 10/40 = 0.25 mol

3.Find out number of moles in 35g of glucose

Molar mass (M) = C6H6O12 = 6×12 12×1 6×16 = 180g/mol

m = 35g

n = m/M = 35/180 = 0.194 mol

4.Find out number of moles in 96g of NaCl

Molar mass = NaCl = 23 35 = 58g/mol

m = 96g

n = m/M = 96/58 = 1.65 mol

## How to find mole fraction from molarity?

Let us now see what is the relation between mole fraction and molarity.

Consider,

XA = mole fraction of solvent

XB = mole fraction of solute

MA = Molecular mass of solvent

MB = Molecular mass of solute

nA = number of moles of solvent

nB = number of moles of solute

WA = mass of solvent

WB = mass of mass of solute

So the mole fraction of the solvent:

XB = nA / nA nB   … equation 1

And the mole fraction of the solvent :

XA = nA / nA nB  … equation 2

After dividing equation 1 by equation 2 we get

XB × 1000 / XA × MA = WB × 1000 / WA × MB = m = Molarity

Therefore Molarity = XB × 1000 / ( 1- XB ) × MA

By rearranging the above equation in an order of our requirements we can calculate mole fraction.

## How to find the mass of a mole fraction?

We can understand the interconversion of the two quantities from the following example:

mass → mole

36   C

16   H

20   O

28   N

Assume a basis 100g

Change mass to moles

36g C / 12g / mole = 3 moles

16g H / 1g / mole = 16 moles

20g O / 16g / mole = 1.25 moles

28g N / 14g / mole = 2 moles

Add all the moles together = 22.25 moles

Find the mole fraction: moles / total moles

So the mole fraction will be

C : 3 / 22.25 = 0.135

H : 16 / 22.25 = 0.719

O : 1.25 / 22.25 = 0.056

N : 2 / 22.25 = 0.090

The total of mole fraction comes up to be 1.0.

Mole to mass fraction

36 C

16 H

20 O

28 N

Assume a basis of 100 moles

Change moles to mass

C : 36 moles × 12g / mole = 432g

H : 16 moles × 1g / mole = 16g

O : 20 moles × 16g mole = 320g

N : 28 moles × 14g / mole = 392g

On addition of all the masses we get 1160g

Find mass fraction: mass / total mass

C : 432 / 1160 = 0.372

H : 16 / 1160 = 0.014

O : 320 / 1160 = 0.276

N : 392 / 1160 = 0.338

So, in this way we can find the mass of a mole fraction.

## How to calculate molar mass example?

Calculating molar mass is very simple just have to add the weights of the atoms, let’s understand through the below example:

1.Calculate the molar mass of sodium carbonate

Solution :

We know that the chemical formula of sodium carbonate is Na2CO3

Na (sodium) : 23×2 = 46

C : 12×1 = 12

O : 16×3 = 48

After adding all the masses :

46 12 48 = 106g/mol

So the molar mass of sodium bicarbonate is 106g/mol.

You can use our Grams to Tablespoons Calculator for conversion between mass and volume of a certain substance. Did you ever use a recipe from the Internet or the newspaper to cook something? If you did, you know that almost every ingredient has a certain amount next to it (for example, 100 g of cocoa and 100 ml of water). So, everything has to be explicitly measured to assure the quality of the end product.

That is not just the case with cooking. Science as well uses exact measures. So conversions from the different types of notation becomes very useful. One of those cases is converting between units gram and tablespoon (tbsp). See also this related converter from grams to cups or converter from grams to ounces. Also, there is our Butter Calculator for you to check out.

## Grams and Tablespoons

Gram is a unit of measure for mass. There are one thousand grams in a kilogram, the main mass unit in the international system of units. Grams are used in the kitchen to express the weight of something (technically, grams are units for mass, but mass and weight are often used interchangeably, even though they are not the same thing). Meanwhile, a tablespoon (tbsp) is a unit of volume. Above all, it is primarily used in cooking.

### How big is a gram?

Gram is a pretty small unit of mass/weight. List of items that weigh exactly one gram:

• US dollar bill,
• Ordinary paperclip,
• Thumbtack, and so on.

There are also ways to express grams in US metric system, but we will stick to European standards.

### How much is a tablespoon?

Unit of a tablespoon (tbsp) is derived from, you guessed it, a regular tablespoon. Therefore, many countries defined their standards throughout history, even for things like tbsps. So it comes as no surprise when you hear that there are multiple versions of tablespoon:

• Metric tablespoon, exactly 15 ml of volume
• US tablespoon, exactly 14.8 ml of volume
• Australian tablespoon, exactly 20 ml of volume

There is also a teaspoon unit, but for that, you can look in our Grams to Teaspoons Calculator and other articles on our site.

## Grams to Tablespoons conversion formula

Converting grams to a tablespoon is not that complicated once you get the gist of it. In this article, we will stick with a metric tablespoon. To convert the certain mass of some substance to a certain volume, use the formula:

Volume\space =\frac{Mass}{Density}

So to convert from mass in grams to volume in tbsp, plug in the appropriate units in the formula:

Volume\;in\;tbsp\space=\space\frac{Mass_{grams}}{Density_{grams/tbsp}}

Density depends on which substance we are talking about. Our calculator has a list of different kitchen ingredients with their densities.

## How many grams are in a tablespoon?

To calculate how many grams are in a tablespoon of a certain substance, use the formula:

Mass_{grams}=1\;tbsp\times Density_{grams/tbsp}

Density depends on the substance we are using. For example, the density of plain white flour goes from 8 to 9 grams per tbsp.

## Tablespoons in a cup conversion

The measurement unit of one cup refers to another unit of volume used in the kitchen. Just like with tbsp, there are multiple versions of it. Some of them include US legal cup, US customary cup, metric cup, and so on. Table of conversion between different versions of cups and tbsp is given below:

 Versions of cup unit Size in tbsp US legal cup 16 US customary cup 15.77 Australian cup 16.67 Canadian cup 16.67 Metric cup 16.67

To convert from cups to tablespoon, insert data from the table into the following formula:

Volume_{tbsp}=Volume_{cups} \times Size \; of\;cup_{tbsp}

## Grams to Tablespoons conversion chart

To convert from mass to volume of a certain substance, use the chart below:

 Substance to convert Tbsp in one gram All-purpose wheat flour 0.11 Water 0.067 Granulated sugar 0.079 Salt 0.055 Butter 0.07 Milk 0.065 Olive oil 0.073

These are just some of the most often used cases. Next, to convert grams to tbsp, use the formula:

Volume_{tbsp}= Mass_{grams}\times Tablespoons_{per \; gram}

Where Tablespoons per gram is the number from the chart above according to the substance.

## Grams to tablespoons calculator – How to use?

You can use our app for many different kinds of conversions. When you open “Grams to Tablespoons Calculator” in our app, you will see a few input fields. The first field, “Ingredient,” is optional. If you choose an ingredient, another field can pop up for the type of ingredient.

For example, You probably know that there are different types of ingredients like flour and salt. The third field, “Density,” should automatically fill out if you enter these.

Our calculator has a lot of common kitchen ingredients built-in. On the other hand, if you are not on the list, you can enter the density of the ingredient yourself (pay attention to the unit; the default is kilo per cubic meter, but you can change this).

After that, there is the “Convert” section. In the first field, you should enter the mass of your ingredient in grams. As a result, the number of tbsps in the second field should appear in the given mass. This result can either be in a metric tablespoon or US tablespoon.

## Grams to Tablespoons Calculator – Example

Let’s say we want to cook something, following the recipe we found on the Internet. But then we realize something. Someone from Europe wrote that recipe, and all of the utensils in our kitchen are labeled with units of tablespoons. For example, this will be the simple list of our ingredients (this is not a cooking article):

• 100 grams of wheat flour
• One white egg
• 100 g of water

With our calculator you will get this data after the conversion:

• 11 tbsp of flour
• 4 tbsp of liquid white eggs
• 6,63 tbsp of water

(Note: in a real kitchen, you would use units of teaspoons and cups as measurements also). In conclusion, our “Grams to Tablespoons Calculator” can easily be used for conversion between units of gram and tablespoon.

In this post, we will learn how to convert temperature from Kelvin to degree Celsius using the C Programming language.

Kelvin and Celsius are two temperature scales used to measure the temperature of an object.

The below program asks the user to enter the temperature in Kelvin, then it converts the temperature to degree Celsius using the conversion factor: 1 Kelvin = -272.15 degree Celsius

So, without further ado, let’s begin this tutorial.

// C Program to Convert Kelvin to Celsius
#include
int main(){
float kel, cel;

// Taking input
printf("Enter the temperature in Kelvin: ");
scanf("%f", &kel);

// Kelvin to celsius conversion
cel = kel - 273.15;

// Displaying output
printf("%.2f Kelvin = %.2f Celsius", kel, cel);

return 0;
}

Output

Enter the temperature in Kelvin: 346
346.00 Kelvin = 72.85 Celsius

## How Does This Program Work?

    float kel, cel;

In the above program, we have declared two floating data type variables named kel and cel.

    // Taking input
printf("Enter the temperature in Kelvin: ");
scanf("%f", &kel);

Then, the user is asked to enter the temperature in Kelvin

    // Kelvin to celsius conversion
cel = kel - 273.15;

We convert the temperature from Kelvin to degree Celsius using the conversion factor: 1 Kelvin = -272.15 degree Celsius.

    // Displaying output
printf("%.2f Kelvin = %.2f Celsius", kel, cel);

The equivalent temperature in degree Celsius is printed on the screen using the printf() function.

## Conclusion

I hope after going through this post, you understand how to convert temperature from Kelvin to degree Celsius using the C Programming language.
